Following many years spent in urban environments, Chia Nee found herself yearning to return to her roots in Perlis, a small town where she grew up. As she strolled through the neighborhood, enveloped by the verdant greenery and greeted by the convivial chatter of locals, she was struck by the joyous and harmonious ambiance of her hometown. This experience fueled her desire to pursue a career in architecture, leading her to traverse different cities and immerse herself in diverse contexts and spaces.
After completing her undergraduate studies at Taylor's University in Kuala Lumpur, she obtained her Part 2 Master's degree from the renowned Glasgow School of Art in the United Kingdom. Subsequently, she embarked on a journey of professional growth, earning her Part 3 qualification and becoming a registered architect in Malaysia. Chia Nee believes that good design stems from a fusion of passion and expertise. With a keen eye for construction detailing and a commitment to minimizing waste, she approaches every project with a meticulous attention to detail, seeking to capture the essence of existing structures and create sustainable solutions for clients.
